Re: [orca-list] am I crazy

Hi
You're not crazy. They seem to have moved this to the "switch users or shutdown" panel applet. Even in Jaunty this is a recent change, only a few days old. I thought the same thing when my shutdown menu disappeared, it's nice to know I'm not crazy :).

Hi all, I just wanted to make sure I'm not crazy or missing something. I did the upgrade to Jaunty on my laptop, and everything went reasonably smooth. The one thing I can't find though, is the shutdown menu item that I had under system, under intrepid. Is it located somewhere else in Jaunty? Also, I followed Darragh's tutorial on disabling pulse and using Alsa, which worked nicely on my desktop machine. Can I do the same thing on my laptop running Jaunty? As always, thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks,

Guy

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.
