When the Ubuntu cd boots, the first option is the language selection,
which by default is english so you press enter.
then press f5 for accessibility and type number 3 to select screen
reader (orca in this case by default ).
Now hit enter then down arrow and hit enter again.
this will start orca  along side the installer.
