[orca-list] Problem with speech spead after upgrading Ubuntu

Hallo
I just upgraded Ubuntu to version 9.04 with the command 
do-release-upgrade. After I restarted the system orca started, but the 
speech is on the highest possible speed level. At least I think so. It's 
definitely to fast to understand anything.
In the configuration menu the speed is on 50.
Any helpful suggestions?
