Some notes regarding mutt:
The easiest way to start with mutt is:
edit ~/.muttrc and add
set arrow_cursor=yes
set pager=nano
set editor=nano
set smtp_url="smtps://your.smtpserver.com"
set from="your name <your name yourdomain com>"

The braillefrienldy option is useless because of arrow_cursor!!
