Which Orca will be used will depend upon how the configuration was done (e.g., referencing just 'orca' or providing a fully qualified pathname). The orca.desktop that comes with Orca uses just 'orca' with no path prefix. So, it should pick up whatever comes first on the PATH.

I have Gnome configured to execute Orca during startup. Will it simply take
the first orca that it finds in $PATH?
