[orca-list] Has anything happened to Hardy?

Hi  orca-list,

  I upgraded my Ubuntu system from Gutsy to Hardy yesterday and now i have neither speech nor braille when i start up the system and the Brltty doesn't seem to want to start at all no matter how i try. This could, of course be because i have forgotten how to start Brltty with an Alva Satelite 540, but in Gutsy the display was detected automagically. Orca doesn't start either. Is this a known thing and is there a cure?
