[orca-list] gnome-speech doesn't talk any more!

Hi
I tried to update gnome-speech. When I typed make install I got an error 
message: Not enough arguments for the espeak function. So to stop any 
mixing up I typed make uninstall afterwards. Obviously a mistake because 
since I had to start orca afterwards it has been quit. I tried to 
install the erarlier version of gnome-speech afterwards but got the same 
error message. I also noticed that I can*t enter the orca setup any more.
So what can I do to make him  talk again?
