Bryen,
         thanks for your email about this issue. Well,I'd added 
http://download.opensuse.org/update/10.3/ to my repositories and after 
that I'd run Yast-Software-OnlineUpdate
After a lot of updates something good had happend so Orca's preferences 
are talking! But OpenOffice.org still doesn't talk and firefox neither.
Any ideas?

Maybe can I download more update from other repositories.
