Well I actually fixed it by adding a whitespace to make the file of even
size.. and voila!

It should read something like: ...before starting to ask questions about
IOR interpretations, or CORBA_OBJECT_NIL returns please check that the
size of the IOR is even !!!

I guess this should be the responsibility of the ORB that generates the
IOR. I don't know what the norm says but I guess ORBs should pad w/ 0's or
something to make an even file. In this case I don't yet know if it's the
way I was generating the IOR or that JacORB doesn't bother too much about
this.
