I'm experiencing the same issue on Arch, with NetworkManager 0.9.8.10 and dhcpcd 6.4.2. NetworkManager will set the address of the interface, but it won't set a default route. Adding a default route manually, or running dhcpcd by itself works, but I'm wondering if the issue can be resolved without these workarounds.
