That's quite ease. Please follow these steps:

1. Right click on nm-applet icon in the systray (two screens or signal bars
icon)
2. choose 'Edit Connections...'
3. Editor (nm-connection-editor program) appears
4. Click on 'Wireless' tab
5. Click 'Add' button to add new connection
6. Specify 'Connection name' to your liking
7. Fill your SSID
8. On 'Wireless security' select the FiFI protection type and provide the
password
9. Make sure 'Connect automatically' is checked
10. If you want the connection is activated for all users (i.e. before the
current user logs), tick 'Available to all users' check box
11. Click 'Apply'

You can activate the connection by clicking your SSID in the menu in nm-applet
left-click. However it should be activated autamically when you are in the
WiFi range.
