Re: nm-applet do not show my wireless



I built a kernel 2.6.21.1.
Everything seems to work fine (nm-applet see the wireless connection
without the essid definition in /etc/interfaces), even the reported signal 
strength seems to be more realistic than with the old kernel, but iwconfig 
gives me a warning about wireless extension version 22 not supported and it 
can not obtain an ip address (if I boot with the 2.6.18 kernel it connects).

$iwconfig
lo        no wireless extensions.

eth1      no wireless extensions.

Warning: Driver for device eth2 has been compiled with version 22
of Wireless Extension, while this program supports up to version 20.
