Re: configuring NetworkManager?



What do you mean empty?  Are you using the package provided by Ubuntu?
 If so using that package NetworkManager will not manage any interface
if it is listed in /etc/network/interfaces

Try commenting out the interfaces or using the Network Configuration
tool in Ubuntu to "deactivate" the devices.
