Dear GermÃn and Claudio, The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee needs more information to process the application of Francisco Rojas. Since he has listed you as the primary contact, the committee would like you to list the contributions that Francisco Rojas has made for the GNOME community in recent times. Your input will be greatly appreciated to help us to make a fair and informed decision in the granting or denying the applicant as a foundation member.
Dear Peiro, Francisco Rojas was mentored by Claudio Saavedra (among other local Free Software supporters) some years ago into GNOME. Francisco has been volunteer (in the beginning) and later organizer of several events to promote GNOME in Chile. He has given several talks to help people getting involved in GNOME development as well as he has written documentation for newcomers. On the other hand, he has been involved in the development of Gyrus, an Cyrus IMAP administration tool, as well as he has contributed with Postr (a program to upload pictures into Flickr). He is a very enthusiastic contributor and, IMHO, he has made non trivial contributions to the project. Hence, I endorse his application.
