Lionel does a great job in advertising and promoting GNOME: conferences,
blog, his Ubuntu book, etc.

He's also concerned about UI and user experience questions. For example,
we had very interesting talks at FOSDEM with him trying to solve some
hard questions about UI we have in Empathy.
