Dear Xavier and Sjoerd, The GNOME Foundation Membership Committee needs more information to process the application of Jonny Lamb. Since [he/she] has listed you as the primary contact, the committee would like you to list the contributions that Jonny Lamb has made for the GNOME community in recent times. Your input will be greatly appreciated to help us to make a fair and informed decision in the granting or denying the applicant as a foundation member.
Sorry for the late reply. As Xavier probably already mentioned, Jonny is an active contributer to the Telepathy framework. On the gnome side of things he has been especially active in Empathy and nautilus-sendto to which he added a plugin for sending files using Telepathy. On the Telepathy side of things he worked on the file transfer support in telepathy-salut (our link-local xmpp connection manager), has contributed to telepathy-bufferfly (our python MSN connection manager) and helped on various other telepathy components. Last but not least, Jonny has been active in the Debian community quite some time and has been a Debian Developer since last year. In Debian (among other things) he is part of the Telepathy packaging team, where he made significant contributions to the Debian packaging of various Telepathy components. He is also an active member of the Maemo packaging team, who package various parts of the hildon desktop (as used on the maemo platform) for Debian.
