Summary:
Non conventional GNOME promotion.

Detailed description:
Years before GNOME project was created, I had been helping Miguel, Federico and latter Nat Friedman with strategic input.

For example, I promote the creation of the GNOME Foundation.

In that context, I had been promoting of GNOME with the numerous mesoamerica native indians. Only in Mexico there are 68 different indian languages, some with several million speakers, but non has a GNOME translation.

Years ago, we had a very promising relation with de national education system, particularly with the ILCE (ONU organization), that would had change that. For all those years Microsoft made sure that that wont happened.

Today we are directly working with indian organizations, we have now some Linux effort started and soon we hope will have GNOME translations available.

Mesoamerican Indians have always work collaboratively. The free software culture has a lot to learn from this millenia old way of living.

Taxes for example, call "Tequio" in imperial Nahuatl language, was never in money, but on people community work.

Now, we have to direct that work on translating GNOME in Nahuatl, Otomi, Mixe, Zapoteco, Purepecha, etc.
