Sjoerd is an active member of the Debian GNOME team, and helps there
with keeping GNOME (and also dependencies like D-Bus and HAL) packages
up to date. He's also written Telepathy's link-local XMPP (aka
Rendezvous, Bonjour, etc :D) backend, which is going to be used in the
OLPC project, and has done some patches to Gossip to help improve its
integration with Telepathy. He's a very diligent programmer and
contributor, and definitely a credit to the GNOME community.

Rob
