 Sure; Gustavo Franco aka "stratus" has joined the "pkg-gnome" Debian
 GNOME packaging project a while ago and contributed some random
 changes:

 He is also one of the initiators for the Debian Desktop sub-project
 which is a place where we discuss cross desktop environment changes,
 such as common artwork.

 He is employed in the creation of a CDD (Custom Debian Derivative) in
 south America which targets GNOME as the desktop environment for thin
 clients.
