I'm okay to add a field in application_status.txt (and remove it when we
accept/deny the application). I don't like the idea to move files since
cvs is not a good tool for this...

We usually don't need to vote :-)
In fact, we more or less used to work this way: we used to send
propositions on the mailing list and if there were no answer, then it
means it's okay.
However, I'd me more confortable with a one week period if the "vote" is
about applications.
Also note that asking on IRC is usually very fast :-)
What do other people think?
