how to disable internationalization support (for an embedded system)

I'm trying to build mc for an embedded system.

I want mc to be as small as possible.

However, when I do "mc -V", I can see I still have some undesired features:

# mc -V
GNU Midnight Commander 4.6.1
Virtual File System: tarfs, extfs, cpiofs, ftpfs, fish
With builtin Editor
Using included S-Lang library with terminfo database
With support for background operations
With mouse support on xterm
With internationalization support

I would like to compile it without "internationalization support" - how can I do it?
