Hi Ian,

I've had no trouble building using jhbuild - and both the glibmm and
the gtkmm configure.ac seem to already include a check for C++11
(MM_AX_CXX_COMPILE_STDCXX_11([noext],[mandatory])

I'm on linux, gcc 5.1.0.

What platform / compiler are you using?
