Gnome::Gda::Connection Help

Hi, in libgdamm4 i can't open a connection to the database, i get an
generic Glib::Error exception.

connection->open_from_string("MySQL,"HOST=localhost;DB_NAME=database_name","USERNAME=user;PASSWORD=password");

am i doing something wrong?
