Re: Next Stable Version of glibmm (Jonathon Jongsma)

glibmm 2.24 will be released when glib 2.24 is released, along with the
next version of GNOME, probably around the end of April:

Now would be a good time to branch in git so people can test/improve the
changes.

I've branched glibmm and pushed some network IO stuff (e.g. Gio::Socket)
to git. It's not complete yet, but if people want to help or test it
out, feel free.

I've tried to build the package now, but make says that there was now
rule to build /glib/glibmm/checksum.lo
The commands i run were:

./autogen-sh
./configure --prefix=/usr
make

What's wrong?

             with regards..................
You can download git for windows and get the last revision. Compiling in Visual Studio is horror (http://live.gnome.org/gtkmm/MSWindows/BuildingGtkmm) so do yourself a favor and compile it using mingw and automake, which you should be able get working.
