This is for the long-obsoleted legacy gtkmm version 1.2.  You are
supposed to use new gtkmm 2.4 API, which is at version 2.16.0 now.  As
suggested in other threads, try installing `libgtkmm-2.4-dev' in Debian
(or Ubuntu).
