Could a button move himself?

Hi, All,

If I use put() of Gtk::Fixed to put a custom button in to the container. Could the custom button use the move() of Gtk::Fixed to move himself? Or, I should use other formal step to move the custom button?
Actually, I wanna make the custom button to move on hisown, if I drag it.
Any advise?
