how to get a Handle in gtkmm

Hi,

is there any way to get the handle of a widget in win32... 

for example in wxWidgets you can have a  wxBox and you can get de Handle
using wxBox.getHandle();..

is there any similar thing in gtk/gtkmm???

i want to get the handle of a Gtk::DrawingArea... any idea??
