Gtk::TreeView::set_fixed_height_mode and Gtk::TREE_VIEW_COLUMN_FIXED

Hi all,

I have a question regarding Gtk::TreeView::set_fixed_height_mode operation. Why all columns must be type of Gtk::TREE_VIEW_COLUMN_FIXED when using fixed height mode in TreeView? How can I the interactively change the width of column?
