glibmm 2.13, binary incompatibility

So do we have a binary incompatibility between glibmm 2.12 and glibmm 2.13 ? Somebody reported a problem here:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=245634

"2. These newer versions change the allowed parameter (at least for i386) for
Glib::ValueBase::init() from '(unsigned long)' to '(unsigned int)'."
