Chage colour on a Gtk::Frame

Hi,

I have a slight problem, in being unable to change a Gtk::Frame so it 
has a white background. Sounds simple enough, but nothing I'm trying is 
working, so I figure I might as well down tools and get the proper way 
of doing things. =]
(I've looked at RC files, but can't for the life of me see how to 
actually apply the styles once you create your Gtk::RC object...)
