Joystick support in Gtkmm?

Hello,

I need Joystick support in my Gtkmm app. I think there's no joystick
support in Gtkmm. So which solution do you suggest? The app is
currently planned only for Linux. Using /dev/input/js0 could be a
solution, but this interface is very low level.

Wxwidgets does support joysticks native, but I won't change to
wxwidgets. Any other solutions or hints?
