bleadperl (after revision 33778) is not affected.  Indeed, this exact same
problem with a nearly identical test case has already been reported to p5p:
<http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.perl5.porters/2008/03/msg135055.html>.  The
reporter even added a patch which later got applied.
