Hiho,
I just stumbled over libaosd and think it's a cool piece of software,
but unfortunately it's missing any Perl bindings so I can't use it with
my favorite language... ;)

It uses Cairo and Pango, which have Perl bindings already and looking at
the header files it seems binding such a thing should be doable. Anybody
here going for it? ;) I'd try it myself, if I had more C experience...
