I don't know if anyone's tried using Inline::C with gtk2-perl; I don't recall seeing it mentioned here. Anyway, I gave it a go and it works beautifully. Code attached (somewhat buggy, but the bugs are all mine, nobody else's :). One thing I'm unsure about is how to portably locate gperl.h: would searching @INC be wise? Currently I've just hardcoded the path... Finally, a huge thanks to everyone who helped make gtk programming this much fun! Tom.
