I want to design a GUI which has a canvas containing text, images, and a background colour, (all editable by the user) all of which can be saved to file and/or printed. I've tried doing this with perl/Tk without much success.
I'd like to know if I can do this with gTk before I get too involved.

this sort of thing is possible using the gnome libraries (Gnome2::Canvas / libgnomecanvas is a port of the Tk Canvas, Gnome2::Print / libgnomeprint handles the printing infrastructure), but i have never tried it myself.

anyone?

How come hair colors for women take an hour, but "wash out the gray" stuff for men only five minutes? This is so unfair!
