Hi! I forgot a particular. I started in this way

perl Makefile.PL --without-gtkhtml  --without-gtkglarea \
                  --without-gdkimlib --without-gtkxmhtml \
           --without-gnome    --without-gnomeprint \
           --without-glade    --without-applets

because it gave me a lot of errors complaining I did not have the
package installed. Thanks,
