Re: Support for custom widgets

you might check out CSCHtml, a gtk html widget based on GtkHTML

http://www.cscmail.net/cschtml

it has perl bindings based on the GtkHTML bindings, and should provide a good
place to get started.

   Hello,

I was wondering how to access in perl a widget that is not in the
standard gtk distribution, such as gtkdatabox?

I tried adding a .xs file in Perl-Gtk-0.7004/Gtk/xs/ and fiddling
 around, without success.

Should I have instead created a separate directory, like GtkGLArea?

If I succeed, should I try to write a "Using a custom widget" entry
 for the gtk-perl tutorial?

   Cheers,

   Etienne
