I am not sure. How do I check that?

About the other error I mentioned (undeclared functions), I went on
adding those declarations to "gtkmarshalers.h" and was also get them
to compile but ended with lots of undefined references and a linking
fail:

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
linking of temporary binary failed: Command '['/bin/bash',
'../libtool', '--mode=link', '--tag=CC', '--silent', 'gcc', '-o',
'/home/tpb261/Downloads/gtk+-3.4.0/gtk/tmp-introspectGlF7MH/Gtk-3.0',
'-export-dynamic',
'/home/tpb261/Downloads/gtk+-3.4.0/gtk/tmp-introspectGlF7MH/Gtk-3.0.o',
'-L.', 'libgtk-3.la', '../gdk/libgdk-3.la', '-pthread',
'-Wl,--export-dynamic', '-lgio-2.0', '-lgobject-2.0', '-lgthread-2.0',
'-lgmodule-2.0', '-lrt', '-lglib-2.0']' returned non-zero exit status
