Retrieve child widgets from parent

Hi,

   Is there an API or a function in gtk or gdk which will return a
list of child widgets in the container of parent??
I have pointer to parent widget (GtkWindow) & i need list of all the
child widgets in it.
If there isnt an such function, kindly guide me as to where should i
start hacking in the code.
