change color from a drawed line

hi all,
I wanna change the color of div. drawed lines and rectangles.
I draw this with gtk_draw_rectangle(*drawable, *gc ...) for example.
now my problem. I think it works with the *.rc file. please can somebody
give me a short codesnippet? thanks!
