Unfortunately, this version too causes my application to crash on startup 
(within WinMainCRTStartup -> __security_init_cookie)

Any idea what could be wrong with this? Did anyone try using this with 
Visual Studio 2005(note that official GTK build for Windows works fine for 
me).
