Fonts, Memory Usage

Hi All,

I've noticed that widgets which contain text seem to be
blurring the edges of the font. Is this a pango feature?
Is there any way to disable it?

While on the topic, does anyone know if the fontconfig
library has any memory leaks, even small ones?

Also ... Does anyone know of a mailing list for valgrind?
