Hi !

Where can I find information about creating a .desktop file, like the
ones in /usr/share/applications ?  More specifically, I would like my
application to add itself to the main menu when installed.

Beyond that, I would like it to use a SVG graphic as its icon, falling
back on a PNG only if the SVG fails.  This is not a priority right now,
though.
