Application default icon

I used gtk_window_set_default_icon_list() to set an icon to to my 
application (GTK 2.2.1), but when I run it in my window manager 
(WindowMaker), the icon just appears in the iconified window. I would 
like to know how to make the icon appears in the application icon, too. 
Like GIMP (1.2.1).
