gconf API

Hi,
  I've been looking at the API docs for GConf at
http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/gconf/x236.html. At one point it
mentions that I should be using GConfClient rather than GConfEngine but
the page for GConfClient is empty. Does anybody know of any docs
describing the GConfClient approach?
