I tried to install and run this but it fails.  I manage to compile it
ok, and install it (make install) but when I go to run it, it fails
because it can not find the lumiere-ui.xml file (even if I run it from
the directory of the executable which has the xml file there with it??).

[dot@nemesis DOTClient]$ lumiere

(lumiere:19915): Bonobo-WARNING **: Can't find 'lumiere-ui.xml' to load
ui from

I also tried the bonobo control and that to failed with the following
output:

[root@nemesis control]# ./lumiere-control

** ERROR **: Registration of Bonobo Lumiere factory failed
aborting...
Aborted

I have just downloaded mplayer-0.90-fr0rc2.1
I am running RedHat 8.0.
