GtkTreeView row height

Hi!

I noticed that the height of a GtkTreeView row is much bigger than
a row in GTK 1.2 or Windows XP. For demonstation a uploaded an image
that illustrates this issue.

What can I do to get the GtkTreeView rows slimmer?

Do I have to chage the font? How can I do that?

Can I force the distance between list items to be smaller?
