Range operators

Hi,

I wrote the formula =sum(A1:B2,B2:C3) and the result was different to  
that what I expected. The range operator "," should combine two ranges  
with the rule of a set union. But B2 was summed up twice. MS Excel  
does the same. What's wrong?
