Hi Eduardo,

Many thanks for your detailed response which has got me up and running.
I am not sure if you are a user of this application on the Nokia
terminal but in the short time I have had it installed (5 mins) I have
noticed that the application does not accept input directly into the
cell, it seems to be necessary to select the cell and then tap into
input box at the top of the screen before you start to type. Is this
correct? Do I have it set up incorrectly or is this a known issue.
I am looking to use this application as a mechanism for recording data
for an asset survey and I am hoping that the combination of the Nokia
N810 and Gnumeric will prove to be a lightweight solution with good
battery life and sufficient screen real-estate to make the device
useable. Obviously if one cannot type directly into the cell it's going
to make the solution a whole lot less attractive.
I would welcome your thoughts on this

It's a bug for the maemo version reported in GNOME bugzilla, take a look:

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=491676

It really makes sense to type directly into the cells now that we have
the N810 with a real keyboard. But in the case of 770 and N800, where
the virtual keyboard will take a big portion of the screen, the
visible area will be highly compromised as the keyboard will be almost
100% of the time visible.

I'll try to find a way to check in the program if we are running on
N800 or N810 hardware and so it can it behave properly on both cases.

Best Regards, Etrunko.
