Formel that return a range is needed

 need a function or formel in Gnumeric that return a range with cells
containing some data.

For example
The range K3:K10 contains data or references to other cells. Other cells in
column is blank.

So

DefinedRange(K3:K100) will return range K3:K10.

where DefinedRange is the function I need. Is this possible?
